Usually Viognier is not my favorite grape. It's too flabby and the alcohol tends to be too high. Whenever I discount a grape I always find myself eating my words. This is EXACTLY what Viognier should taste like. The nose is very floral and there is just enough acidity and weight to make this *get ready for this* one of the best Viognier I have ever had! You've got to try one!

Wine Tasting Notes
Nose very open and expressive, but fine and not overpowering. The mouth is rich and balanced. The wood brings out the intensity of the wine without denaturing the aromatic nature of this particular grape variety. This Viognier is floral with a touch of white fruit. Lasting flavor and nice finish. Goes well with fish in a sauce as well as smoked salmon salads.
